JBW 2007 - Convoy (Optimus Primal)


The original Optimus Primal has a bulky, powerful frame, exceedingly well-proportioned and well-articulated. Primal is armed with dual recurved swords, a double missile-firing wrist-mounted gun and a skull-headed mace. His alternate mutant head, a revolving mask plate, looks almost like some kind insectoid countenance. The Japanese BW II version of Optimus Primal was summoned to work in tandem with Leo Prime. Optimus Primal commanded the Axalon during the attempted apprehension of the fugitive Megatron and the stolen Golden Disk. After being time-displaced on a prehistoric Earth, Primal was forced to rally his few troops and assemble a well-defended war camp in response to Megatronâs aggressive reorganization. Frequently regarding combat as a reluctant option, Optimus Primal is guided by the same sense of honor as Optimus Prime.
